Pengenalan

Salam Sejahtera dan selamat datang ke BLOG SJK(T)KANGAR


Terima kasih diucapkan kepada semua pelanggan yang melanggan Blog sekolah ini.
Sekolah ini merupakan sekolah aliran Bahasa Tamil yang tunggal di Negeri Perlis Indera Kayangan. Ianya terletak sejauh 2 km dari Bandar Kangar. Lokasinya di Jalan Padang Katong, 01000 Kangar. Ia mempunyai sejarah perkembangannya sendiri sejak ia ditubuhkan pada 1936. Kini, sekolah ini memiliki bangunan tiga tingkat yang telah didirikan pada tahun 2003.
Seramai 14 orang guru bertugas disekolah ini dan seramai 4 orang staff sokongan dengan bilangan pelajar seramai 72 orang.

Maksud Logo Sekolah / School Logo's Meaning

Shield - Represents  the willingness of school students, teachers and staffs to stand united to hold upon Tamizh School as a place to get united and educate each other the importants of Tamizh Language. 3 Curves above and pulled down to 1 point tells the major 3 races (Indian, Malay and Chinese) united as Malaysian (1 Malaysia)

Red Colour - Represents bravery of students to face all the challenges in life to gain success in whatever fields they enter. Especially in Curricular and Co-curricular activities.

Book and Pencil (Puttagam matrum Ezhuthukol) - Represents the hardwork and intellectual of students whom studying in SJK(T) Kangar. It is also represent the place of teaching and learning happens.

7 White Poles - Symbolises Poles of purity of Lord Murugha (Thandayutham) to hold upon Tamizh Language is perfect language through its phonetic ways. Students learning the language to its core without any prejudice at school. Tamizh as a weapon of strength and power.It is also represent the objectives to achieve success in sports.

SJK TAMIL KANGAR, PERLIS - Tells the name of the school SJK (T) KANGAR and where it is placed.

Blue Ribbon and The Slogan 'Tamizh Vaalgha Valargha' - Symbolises the UNITY as Malaysian and Indians to use Tamizh as a languageof dignity in daily life without discrimination of race with softness and elegant of the language.
